Studio tomskampars is a Riga-based architecture and spatial design practice led by Toms Kampars. The studio works across buildings, public space, interiors and exhibitions, developing projects from the first concept through detailed design and site supervision. Its work ranges from timber housing and workplaces to cultural interiors, temporary structures and civic installations.

Across different scales, the studio turns each brief into a clear spatial idea with a strong identity and lasting everyday value. Projects have transformed Riga’s largest historic square into a temporary public living room, shaped an art exhibition around an intimate timber sanctuary and turned the Latvian Pavilion in Venice into a supermarket of architectural ideas. The same approach informs mass-timber workplaces and adaptable homes, using daylight, material warmth, shared space and landscape to support healthier everyday environments.

Toms studied architecture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Riga Technical University and Politecnico di Milano. Before establishing his practice, he gained professional experience at Henning Larsen in Copenhagen, Heatherwick Studio in London, Sarma Norde Architects in Riga and Delugan Meissl Associated Architects in Vienna. His work has been built and exhibited internationally, including in Latvia, Ghana and at the Venice Architecture Biennale, and has received an Architecture MasterPrize, two ArchDaily Building of the Year finalist selections and coverage in international architecture media.
